Resources

Over its 80-year history, one purpose of SWCD was to assist in organizing special assessment districts (water conservancy districts) who are tactically involved in the daily water management operations.  Within the District, they are:

  • Animas La Plata Water Conservancy District
  • Florida Water Conservancy District (Lemon Reservoir)
  • Dolores Water Conservancy District (McPhee Reservoir)
  • Mancos Water Conservancy District (Jackson Gulch Reservoir)
  • San Juan Water Conservancy District
  • San Miguel Water Conservancy District

For more information about the conservancy districts, visit the Water Information Program website.
